The Chronicles of Shamal is a three chapter comic book made by one person. Set in the Middle-eastern island of Bahrain, read as the story unfold the ancient tale of Shamal, a man who was buried alongside his trusty steed alive by his brother under the Tree of life. To my knowledge, we have not had any comics take place in Bahrain, neither did anyone use any of its landmark as a base for a fictional story in a comic book setting. The Chronicles of Shamal does that.
The premise of the story is clear. There is some mythical things going around the Tree of life, and Shamal the protagonist of the story is somehow related to this. Beyond the incredible premise and the interesting setting, how does it deliver?
Recently I have been interested in going back to read and watch more about Sega Genesis games. I didn’t own a Sega console, and Sonic was the only game I saw my relatives play on that system in my youth. Blades of Vengeance caught my eyes and I started searching if I could play this game anywhere, sadly, as most old games, you can only get it on its original system. There was no other way to try it, other than on an emulator.
Ninja Senki DX is a Side-scroller platformer released on 23 FEB 2016 for PS4, PS Vita and Steam and costs $4.99 or $7.29 on the Middle Eastern PS Store. Originally released as a freeware for PC on 2010. The Enhanced version include more scenes (levels), Remixed soundtrack, Speedrun challenge mode, Widescreen, and supports trophies. It is one of the games I was very excited to play on the PS Vita as soon as I saw the trailer.
Hand of Fate is a year old game now, it was released on the 17th of February 2015 and was recently made free on Xbox One games with gold. The only thing I knew about the game is that it is a card game, I immediately thought Hearthstone type of card game. But I was pleasantly surprised when I first tried it.
A resume from a game designer who works at XPEC Entertainment ( Taiwanese company that work with Japanese game developers) shows Knack II under the projects she worked on alongside Final Fantasy XV.
Supposedly starting MAY 2015 she worked on Animated 3D characters motions and cutscenes for PS4 system.
So, what do you think of that? will Knack 2 be better than the first one? and what exactly was the problem with the first one?
To be honest, I played Knack as a launch title while I had nothing else to play and it was boring at times. I like 3D platformers but knack felt restricted somehow and I do not know what its problem was.
